These Terms govern your use of PDF Redactly (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
PDF Redactly provides browser-based PDF redaction tooling. Detection and redaction operate client-side. The Service is provided on an “as-is” basis without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and any activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the Service except as permitted by your subscription tier.
- Use the Service to redact documents that you do not have a legal right to modify.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, entitlement tokens, or other access controls.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account page. Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis; contact [email protected].
Lifetime plans grant access to the Service in its current generation. We may discontinue features or release a paid successor product, in which case lifetime users will retain access to the version they purchased for as long as it is operationally feasible to support it.
5. Accuracy of redaction
PDF Redactly's detection is best-effort. We do not guarantee that all sensitive information will be detected automatically. You are responsible for reviewing redacted output before distributing it.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Redactly and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email and on the website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
